Kevin Hall inducted into the African American Golfers Hall of Fame

Kevin Hall is now part of an exclusive fraternity as he entered the African American Golfers Hall of Fame last night.

The deaf pro golfer was give the group's trailblazer award at a ceremony in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Hall was the first black golfer to play at Ohio State. He's also a Big Ten champion and a four-time winner on the Advocates Professional Golf Association Tour. Accepting the award, Hall said:
"Tonight mean's a lot to me because of all the things I've done in my life, the places I've been and the people, I've met. I'm always trying to dream big. That's my goal. Never let anything get in your way. You can do whatever you put your mind to. Don't let anyone tell you you can't do it. I've hung onto that my entire life."
Hall lost his hearing at the age of two after becoming ill with meningitis.
